Purpose of the conference
The idea of organizing the first International Conference on Mathematical Modelling came as the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies in Mathematical Modelling were started at the University of Gdansk. The idea was to bring together doctoral students of the university and make them be aware of what their colleagues work on. Now we want to extend its scope by inviting students from other universities, not only in Poland.
